Coming out of New Haven Connecticut, Born January 30th 1991 is Ocie “Roc B” Rivers. As a young boy in the Church he enjoyed playing any instruments he could get his hands on and singing male leads in the choir. He graduated in the top 10% of his class in 2009. Under the mentorship of gospel producer and Grammy Nominated Larry Young the talents of this young mind expanded. Roc B started rapping/singing/composing music with “Goon$quad” in early 2010 under the production of Greg “P-Wyld” Moye. In the same year he was part of the introduction of two family businesses (P-Wyld Productions/Films & MoyeBoy Entertainment). These newfounded companies helped push the careers of those affiliated. Doing shows in multiple states and the monthly showcases in New Haven CT at the legendary “Toads Place”, he gained the support of D-Block A&R rep “Poobs” In July Of 2010. Grasping The Ear Of DJ’s Such As : Dj Big Mike, Dj OP, Dj S-Boogie, Dj Craig G,Dj Bink B and a few Others. As an Indie Artist with DBlock Roc B is looking to bring classic but stylish hip hop to his fans.
