Brandon Chapman(Born April 5, 1981) started rapping at the age of 13 which was the beginning of his competitiveness in trading bars with fellow emcee's. He began recording by age 16 and co-produced his first full length project at the age 18. He then joined the US Army and while stationed at Ft. Hood,TX he made a name for himself on the Texas Underground scene with his battle rap skills & energetic showmanship on stage. Winning numerous competitions & open mic events He became a regular in the central Texas nigh scene which lead to him opening for artist such as Mystical, Three Six Mafia, Black Rob, Cash Money etc.. He began working on mixtapes while crafting an album also juggling army duties & fatherhood. He completed 2 mixtapes before returning to New Haven,CT in 2003. He immediately began on an album with 2 childhood friends that was up for consideration with the Elecktra Records before management fall outs & the untimely demise of that record company. B.X then took some time off for a few years and did a few feature appearances on DJ WhiteRock, KaySlay & The DramaKings, Concept Keys and others Mixtapes. It wasnt until B.X the witty & outspoken emcee was approached by good friend about a internet radio internship where he could help host a on air show that he began to feel that same love for music & began working on compilation with fellow artist at station. He did hosting, performing and started to get back into production which lead to 2 mixtapes & an Ep. In 2011, B.X was voted Artist Of The Year at the HollaBack Music Awards & was in consideration following year as well. He released X:Files "The Truth Is Here" & was a featured artist On "How 2 Put A State On The Map 3.5 by Phil Blount Hosted by Legendary Dj Doo Wop. He then followed that up with the blaxploitation driven "I Declare War" mixtape which is currently buzzing in the streets & social medias now. He's a self produced Songwriter/Artist thats very driven & outspoken, a pure entertainer in rare form. Currently signed with No Gimmick Music Coalition/Beastmode Inc B.X is prepping to release a full length Lp "The B.Xperience" while finishing up a few mixtape releases aswell. B.X has opened for Cappadonna, D-Block, State Property, Ruff Ryders, Fred Da Godson, Lloyd Banks, Slick Rick & DipSet & more.
